After the Carolina Panthers traded superstar running back Christian McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers last season, it was uncertain how much the perennial Pro Bowler had left in the tank and how much he could impact his new team in the Bay Area.
Fortunately for McCaffrey, the move to San Francisco rejuvenated his NFL career and helped him become one of the elite running backs in the NFL once again while being a key contributor on one of the best teams in the league.
Following an incredible regular-season performance for the 49ers, in which he put his name in the NFL MVP conversation along with teammate Brock Purdy, McCaffrey has continued to play well in the NFL playoffs for the 49ers.
Ahead of his first Super Bowl appearance against the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs, McCaffrey has earned the distinction as the only running back in the league to be in Madden’s 99 Club for two different teams, according to the Madden NFL 24 Twitter account.

Thus far in the postseason, McCaffrey has racked up 188 yards and four touchdowns on the ground on 37 carries while also catching 11 passes for 72 receiving yards.
During the regular season, the veteran running back put up some remarkable numbers, racking up 2,023 yards from scrimmage and 21 total touchdowns.
McCaffrey has become instant offense for the 49ers this season and one of the best players in Madden 24, with the 49ers potentially headed toward winning the franchise’s sixth Super Bowl title if they can get the best of Patrick Mahomes and company.
