Giannis Antetokounmpo humbled Christian Wood of the Los Angeles Lakers the other night.
During a preseason game, Antetokounmpo got some serious air against Wood and blocked his attempted dunk.
To make matters even worse, Antetokounmpo then posted a picture of the block on social media and even tagged Wood.
Wood now has a response.
According to Bleacher Report, Wood said, “I love it I’ll see him during the season just circled the game on my calendar.”

It sounds like Wood is ready for a rematch against the two-time MVP.
Wood will have to wait for some time because the first matchup between the Lakers and Bucks isn’t until Friday, March 8.
Until then, Wood can focus on his game, achieve some big wins with the Lakers, and prepare himself to square off against Antetokounmpo again.
This will be Wood’s first season with the Lakers and he is looking to become a permanent, important part of the team.
He has shown some impressive moments of greatness during the preseason but it remains to be seen how much time he gets on the floor during the regular season.
As for Antetokounmpo, everyone knows how important this upcoming season will be for him.
He is looking to push his team back to the Finals and his goal is clear: he wants to win another championship.
The chance of that happening greatly increased recently when his team acquired Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers.
Once again, the Bucks are now the most feared team in the Eastern Conference.
Both of these men want to accomplish a lot in 2023-24 and it’s apparent that they will continue play hard.
