The Los Angeles Clippers are entering a new era.
They will go to the Intuit Dome without Paul George there.
And while James Harden re-signed for at least the next two seasons, it seems like their other former MVP will also be on his way out.
According to a report by NBA insider Jake Fischer, the Clippers are currently looking to trade Russell Westbrook (via Hoop Central).

Notably, that seems like a low blow, as Westbrook just opted in for the final year of his contract with them.
He settled for roughly $4 million to stay home and run it back with the team, and they will now look to move on from him.
This is a ruthless business, and that’s just the way things are sometimes in this game.
Westbrook is the ultimate energy guy, even at this point in his career.
He’s the kind of player who will always put the team first, and he proved it by volunteering to come off the bench for the sake of the team, not to mention the fact that he took less money than he could’ve taken somewhere else.
While he’s no longer in his prime and is by no means deserving of a max contract at this point, it seems like he could’ve gotten more than just $4 million in free agency if the Clippers had informed him of their plans.
