The NBA offseason is a great time for players to take vacations, get some rest, but also have some fun at pro-am games.
One of the players doing that is Bones Hyland of the Los Angeles Clippers.
Hyland participated in a pro-am game recently and it gave him a chance to show off his impressive skills, speed, and high basketball IQ.
It also gave him an opportunity to verbally spar with the coach of the rival team, as evidenced by footage shared by Overtime on Twitter.

Hyland looked driven and tuned in during the pro-am game and that’s not a bit surprising.
Anyone who has been watching Hyland over his first few years in the league knows that he is someone who lives and breathes basketball.
During his two seasons, Hyland has averaged 10.9 points and 2.9 assists.
He was showing great promise while playing for the Denver Nuggets, although he was never able to secure a starting spot on that crowded roster.
He then made a move to the Los Angeles Clippers last season but it’s too soon to tell how it’ll work out there.
Hyland has yet to start a game for the Clippers as well despite his desire to be a pivotal part of the team’s lineup.
He has clearly been working hard since moving to LA, improving his rebounds, assists, and field goal percentage.
Since debuting in 2021, Hyland has become known as one of the fastest and most energetic young guards in the league.
He believes in himself and his talent.
That is clear both in the footage from this pro-am game and any time he plays during the season.
