While the Los Angeles Clippers’ roster has gotten considerably weaker after the departures of Paul George and Russell Westbrook, they do have a shiny new toy in the form of their new arena.
The Intuit Dome is set to open this fall in Inglewood, and it promises to be a state-of-the-art basketball arena with plenty of postmodern amenities to give fans a pleasant experience.
One interesting amenity the new building will have is an interesting scoreboard that is positioned above the upper section of seats, and owner Steve Ballmer showed it off to the media, per Justin Russo.

For the last 25 seasons, the Clippers have shared Crypto.com Arena, formerly known as Staples Center, in downtown Los Angeles with the Los Angeles Lakers, but they will now have their own arena all to themselves.
While they have been considered championship contenders for the last five seasons, things will likely be a struggle for them in their new pad.
Without George, the burden of carrying the team will fall more on Kawhi Leonard, who is a great two-way talent but is perpetually injury-prone.
He is now 33 years of age, and one has to wonder how his game and production will age at this point of his career, especially given his lengthy injury history.
Guard James Harden, a former MVP and three-time scoring champion, is still with the team, but he will soon turn 35 years of age, and his game has significantly declined over the last three seasons.
Perhaps the Clippers will still make the playoffs, but they will have to work in order to consistently put lots of butts in seats at their new arena.
