Fans of the Los Angeles Clippers are really hoping that 2023-24 is the season they’ve been waiting for.
After so many false starts and disappointing injuries, loyal followers of the team have grown used to letdowns.
But they will try to be optimistic about the new season, especially if Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are both healthy.
A new tweet from the team shows a series of images from their practice court.
One picture features head coach Tyronn Lue meeting with Leonard, who looks healthy and ready to play.

Fans are hoping he is.
Lue recently promised that both Leonard and George will be 100% by the time training camp starts.
That is a big change from last season when Leonard slowly re-entered the team’s rotation and took off a lot of time to get fully healthy and readjusted to being on the court.
He ultimately experienced yet another injury and missed most of their short postseason run.
If Leonard isn’t ready to play often, the team might face repercussions.
The NBA is weighing punishments for teams that practice load management for more than one star at a time.
That means that if Leonard and George are healthy and able, they’ll be on the floor.
When Leonard was in good shape last season, he was a sight to behold.
He was putting up 23.8 points and 6.5 rebounds on 51.2% from the field.
And although he only played in two games during the playoffs, he was sinking 60% of his three-pointers then.
It’s no surprise that Lue made sure to chat with Leonard right away because these two have a big season ahead of them.
