The Los Angeles Clippers have now dropped five games in a row.
Losing all those role players seems to have hurt their rotation badly, and their offense is still stagnant and odd, with James Harden leading the way.
All new teams need a period of adjustment to get used to what it’s like to play with each other, and as promising as their lineup seems on paper, there would be some ups and downs and that was to be expected.
However, tensions might be boiling over within Tyronn Lue’s team, as it showed during Sunday’s loss to the Memphis Grizzlies in which Clippers star Kawhi Leonard went at it with teammate Ivica Zubac on the bench.
When asked about that altercation, Clippers star Paul George downplayed it and told the media not to look that much into it, adding that they’re not having fun right now because they’re losing (via Farbod Esnaashari).
Paul George on Kawhi Leonard’s argument with Zubac on the bench: “We should be frustrated. We’re not winning games… that incident is healthy for us. I wouldn’t look too much into that.”

The Clippers are now 3-6 for the season and don’t seem to have a solution to their woes at the moment.
They need a better defensive-oriented big man more than they needed Harden, but they still have a chance to solve that issue.
Harden is a ball-dominant player, but he’s also one of the best playmakers in the league, and it’s just a matter of time before he gets used to this new offense.
The Clippers will have to weather the storm and try not to dig themselves into a big hole in the Western Conference as they look to make a deep postseason run.
