The NBA season might be in the record books, but that doesn’t mean basketball is over.

The WNBA campaign has been as exciting as advertised, with this impressive rookie class stealing plenty of attention.

Notably, they even got two former NBA All-Stars there.

As shown in a clip shared by Nikki Kay on Twitter, Victor Oladipo and Russell Westbrook linked up during the Los Angeles Sparks game (via Hoop Central).

Oladipo and Westbrook played together briefly for the Oklahoma City Thunder, but their future in the league is uncertain now.

The former No. 2 pick hasn’t played in quite a while.

He was waived by the Memphis Grizzlies after a trade back in 2023, and he last played for the Miami Heat years ago.

He was on the rise as one of the best defensive players in the league, making it to two All-Star Games and even leading the league in steals back in 2018.

Unfortunately, constant injuries derailed his career, and he might not even be healthy enough to play again.

As for Westbrook, he recently picked up his player option to return to the Los Angeles Clippers on a $4 million salary.

He agreed to take a huge pay cut to run it back with Tyronn Lue’s team, but he’s now expected to be traded.

With Paul George taking his talents East to join the Philadelphia 76ers, the Clippers had to pivot, leaving the former MVP and Scoring Champion as the odd man out.

For now, he’s not going to lose any sleep over that and he’ll continue to enjoy the offseason.
