The Los Angeles Clippers officially have one of the most stacked rosters in the NBA, with two former NBA MVPs and arguably the two best two-way players in the game leading the way for Steve Ballmer’s franchise.
After months of speculation, the Clippers were finally able to acquire superstar guard James Harden in a blockbuster deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, which has reunited him with Russell Westbrook while also teaming him up with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard.
No team in the league has four veteran players with the resumes of these four, as they blow every team out of the water when it comes to star power.
However, with so much star power and all those egos in one locker room, many have wondered whether they’ll be able to make it all work because there’s only one basketball to go around.
Usually, these star-studded teams that are thrown together tend to struggle, with each player used to being the No. 1 option, but the hope in Los Angeles is that all four players can put their egos aside and figure out how to work as a team.
Some have labeled Harden a selfish player for the way that he plays on the floor and the way he conducts himself off the floor by forcing his way out of organizations on seemingly an annual basis now.
However, new teammate Bones Hyland has come to his defense by saying that Harden can’t be selfish because he led the league in assists last year, according to Joey Linn of Sports Illustrated via Legion Hoops.

Only time will tell whether Harden truly is an unselfish player as Hyland believes he is, as he’ll have to share the ball with three other stars, which he’s never had to do before, even though he has played with two other stars, both with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Brooklyn Nets.
It’ll be interesting to see how things pan out in Los Angeles and whether this new-look squad is truly a title contender.
