On Wednesday night at Crypto.com Arena, the Los Angeles Clippers will host Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks for Game 5 of their first-round playoff series, with this matchup becoming one of the most competitive of the postseason thus far.

Although the Mavericks were thought to have the edge in this series because of the uncertain status of superstar forward Kawhi Leonard, Dallas has struggled to put the pressure on Los Angeles, which has resulted in this series going at least six games to find a winner.

Ahead of Game 5 on Wednesday night, the Clippers couldn’t help but troll the Mavericks and their players with an ad outside of Crypto.com Arena promoting a trip from Dallas to Cancun, via NBA on ESPN.

Despite being the away team on Wednesday in Los Angeles, the Mavericks are favored by to come out on top and win a third game in the series to take the 3-2 lead, putting the pressure on the Clippers in an elimination situation in Game 6 back in Dallas.

Leonard has been ruled out for Game 5, which might be why the Mavericks are favored in this game on the road.

Only time will tell whether Doncic and company can take advantage of the Clippers playing without arguably their best player in order to take the series lead back to Dallas, where they can advance to the second round to face the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder.

This is the last series in the Western Conference to come to a conclusion, with the Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, and New Orleans Pelicans already being eliminated.
