The 2023-2024 NBA season was a whirlwind for the Los Angeles Clippers.

After a poor start, this all-star-laden team started to figure things out, eventually going on a run that secured them as the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference.

Despite looking like they were going to go on a run heading into the playoffs, the Clippers fizzled in the first round, falling to the Dallas Mavericks in six games.

The Clippers’ early playoff departure immediately raised a lot of questions about the team’s future, including the status of many of their top players.

There has been a lot of speculation that Paul George will look elsewhere in the offseason, which one of his teammates was recently asked about in a podcast.

When asked by Michelle Beadle about George being a member of the Clippers next year, Terrance Mann responded, “I hope so… I really hope so.”

George has already been linked to a few teams around the league, most notably, the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 76ers are allegedly in the market for a player like George to join Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, creating a big three of sorts.

George has bounced around to a few different teams in the later stages of his career, so it wouldn’t necessarily be out of bounds for him to join a team like the 76ers.

The Clippers could keep the team together and hope to build on the success they found this season, but George might not have the patience to stick around and find out what happens.
