After years of struggling with injuries to their primary superstars in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, the Los Angeles Clippers are finally playing like an elite team in the NBA this season.
Obviously, the credit goes to the duo of Leonard and George, but the likes of James Harden and Russell Westbrook also deserve some credit for their efforts.
But one player that many thought would play the crucial veteran role for the Clippers was PJ Tucker.
However, ever since joining the Clippers, Tucker hasn’t been awarded many opportunities by head coach Tyronn Lue.
To be honest, even in the games that Tucker has played this season, he hasn’t looked very sharp.
As a result, there is certainly a lot of frustration built inside of the Clippers veteran, and as per NBA insider Shams Charania on Twitter, Tucker will be away from the team during the NBA All-Star break to recollect himself.
Amid three months of frustrations, PJ Tucker will be away from the Los Angeles Clippers to reset mindset and is expected to rejoin the team after the All-Star break, sources say.

PJ Tucker is currently 38 years old, which makes him one of the oldest players in the league.
While Tucker has never really been impacted by his age, he is seemingly struggling with father time this season.
In the 15 games that Tucker has played, he has averaged just 1.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 0.5 assists per game for the team.
Moreover, he has shot an abysmal 31.6% from the field and 31.3% from the three-point line in the 2023-24 NBA season, making him one of the most inefficient players in the league.
Will this time away from the team aid Tucker in regaining his form? Only time will tell.
