The Chicago Bears could be one of the most — if not the most — improved teams in the league next season.
Moving on from Justin Fields was just the first step in that direction, as they’ve gone to great lengths to revamp their offense.
That’s why Colin Cowherd recently went out of his way to state that they got the “GM right” with Ryan Poles (via The Volume).

Poles already made a potential franchise-changing move last offseason, trading the No. 1 pick to the Carolina Panthers to get multiple selections.
They will now have the No. 1 and No. 9 picks, with the first most likely being used on Caleb Williams, who could end up being a generational talent.
They’ve also added D.J. Moore, Keenan Allen, and D’Andre Swift, all while revamping the offensive line.
He also made big moves to bolster their defense last season, and they had one of the best in the game after the trade deadline.
It’s been a long time since the Bears were relevant, and they’re going to have to compete with two potential playoff teams in their own division in the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.
But for the first time in ages, it seems like this team finally has a plan and a clear direction.
They won’t be Super Bowl contenders overnight, but it wouldn’t be shocking to see them going deep in the playoffs sooner rather than later, and they will have to give Poles a big raise and the keys to the city if that’s the case.
