With the Golden State Warriors winning another NBA title a couple of years ago with superstar guard Stephen Curry leading the way, there’s been a lot of dynasty and legacy talk about the team and the face of the franchise.
Curry has gone from a first-ballot Hall of Famer and a player who changed the game with three-point shooting, becoming something teams around the league now base their offense around to a player that will go down as an all-time great with some of the biggest names that have ever played in the NBA.
Although Curry is starting to get comparisons to Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson and is getting considered the best point guard in league history, it could be argued he still doesn’t get the credit he deserves for what he’s done during his time with the Warriors.
Colin Cowherd of FOX Sports believes that Curry deserves more respect for his accomplishments up to this point in his career, as he said on The Herd with Colin Cowherd via Legion Hoops.
Colin Cowherd:

Although Cowherd has a point, and there’s an argument to be made that Curry doesn’t get enough respect, the narrative does seem to be shifting ever since he won his fourth title with Golden State, and it may continue to head in that direction if he can keep the Warriors in title contention.
It’ll be interesting to see where the Warriors go with Chris Paul now in the fold in San Francisco and the team getting older rather than younger while other teams like the Sacramento Kings have started to catch up.
