On Thursday night, the Milwaukee Bucks played their first game and gave fans a chance to see Damian Lillard in action.
They were happy they did because Lillard posted 39 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Speaking about the team’s newest player on his show, Colin Cowherd said that Lillard gives the Bucks some “twitch” and will greatly assist them in the last moments of a game.
“You need shotmakers late in games,” Cowherd said, stating that Lillard is that sort of player.
“You can see it instantly… They will be a better team with 3 minutes left.”

Lillard really was the difference-maker for the Bucks in their win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Again and again throughout the night, he was causing trouble for Philadelphia’s defense, moving past them and posting shots from all over the floor.
In the past, the Bucks were not a team that played like this: they were slower and bigger.
As Cowherd said, Lillard brings a lot of quickness and shooting to the team, making them much more dangerous to just about any type of defense.
He also plays well alongside Antetokounnmpo, allowing him to find more space on the floor and taking some offensive responsibilities off his shoulders.
In many ways, Lillard is the exact sort of player Antetokounmpo wanted by his side.
However, this was just one game and there are 81 more ahead.
Can Lillard keep it up that long?
Even with all the changes that Lillard brings, the Bucks didn’t seem to experience many growing pains with him leading the way.
This is very impressive because there have been many times that teams take time to adjust to a talent like his.
In just one game, Lillard shook up everything about the Bucks and gave them an important win.
