When it comes to looking up to a quarterback, Kansas City Chiefs three-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes is the ideal prototype given his decision-making prowess, his poise, his accuracy and his ability to improvise and make something out of nothing when a play breaks down.
Apparently for one college quarterback, taking after Mahomes is becoming a full lifestyle change.
Five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola of the University of Nebraska showed up to camp recently looking exactly like Mahomes, all the way down to the facial hair, sunglasses and haircut.

Mahomes himself even had fun with the situation after former teammate Tyreek Hill tagged him on X.

Raiola hasn’t been shy about his adoration for Mahomes and said in a recent interview with Sam McKewon of Husker Extra that he intends to work out with him and his trainer at some point.
“I just want to be around greatness,” Raiola told McKewon. “Obviously he’s going down as one of the greats already. But just trying to take it all in and elevate my game as much as I can.”
Raiola was ranked by many as the top quarterback of the 2024 class and will head to Nebraska with sky-high expectations for a program that hasn’t had much success over the past decade.
Nebraska hasn’t made a bowl game in seven seasons and will look to Raiola to be a savior.
Hopefully, for Cornhuskers fans, Raiola’s play can resemble Mahomes’ as much as his physical appearance does.
