Colts Draft Pick Already Has A Horseshoe Tattoo

The Indianapolis Colts went 9-8 last season but didn’t have a strong defense, giving up the ninth-most yards in the NFL and despite having 51 sacks, the team didn’t have anyone record double-digit sacks.

Indianapolis was in the market for a star pass rusher, and they took one in the first round of the NFL Draft who reportedly has already made a lifelong commitment to the team in an unorthodox way.

The Colts took UCLA edge rusher Laiatu Latu 15th overall last week, and he already has a huge Colts logo tattooed on his shoulder, much to the delight of former All-Pro punter Pat McAfee, who loved it, saying “that’s a beautiful tattoo!” via NFL on ESPN.

It’s a bold move to get such a large tattoo before even taking a snap in the NFL, but then again, it could always pass as a horseshoe if things don’t work out too well.

There aren’t many other logos he could have done that with.

That being said, the Colts are expecting big things from the former Bruin, as he was the first defensive player taken in the draft and should immediately step in as a prominent member of this defense.

Latu put up 23.5 sacks and 34 tackles for loss in the last two seasons, which was the kind of production that makes you the first defensive player off the board.

No one will be criticizing Latu for this tattoo if he comes in and puts up the kind of numbers he had at UCLA.

One 14-sack season and he’ll have fans getting tattoos just like him.
