Last year, the Houston Texans took the world by storm with CJ Stroud at the helm.

Some mocked the pick and even claimed that his low IQ test score would be a major issue, just to watch him put on a show and one of the greatest rookie seasons of all time.

Now, the Washington Commanders are hoping to go through something similar.

Jayden Daniels was no usual consolation prize; he was another prized prospect with superstar potential, and his teammates are loving what they’re seeing right now.

Talking on Kay Adams’ Up & Adams Show (via FanDuel TV), multiple players talked about his poise, his talent, and how well he’s soaking everything in to be ready come Week 1.

They also talked about what he does after practice and all the hard work he’s putting in.

On top of that, it seems like he’s very confident and has meshed pretty well in the locker room, even poking fun and talking trash to some teammates every now and then.

Daniels was a walking highlight reel in his final season at LSU.

He looks tailor-made for the modern game, as he can make plays with his legs and his arms, and he’s going to have plenty of toys to work with in his new offense.

Will the Commanders shock the world in 2024? We shall see, but the table is definitely set for that.
