The Washington Commanders keep making moves ahead of the start of the season.
Their 53-man roster seems to be all set for now, but they keep making additions to their practice squad.
As per their own report, they just signed linebacker Nick Bellore.

The Seattle Seahawks released him earlier in the offseason.
He’s mostly played as a special teams player, but he can also play on defense.
Thus far, he’s played for the New York Jets, Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers, and Seahawks.
He even made ten starts on defense for the Niners back in 2016.
A 35-year-old veteran, he was also used sparingly as a fullback during his days in Seattle.
Bellore was a cost-saving casualty in Seattle, being cut with one year still left in his contract.
He’s an undrafted free agent who got Pro Bowl nods in 2020 and 2023 for his special teams play, and he’s logged double digits in tackles on special teams four years in a row.
The Commanders struggled on special teams last season, so it makes sense to have a proven veteran like Bellore there, even if for depth.
The Commanders enter the upcoming season as a big question mark, but some believe they have the potential to shock the world as the Houston Texans did in 2023.
If that’s the case, they’ll need everybody, Bellore included, to chip in.
