The Brooklyn Nets are the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference with a disappointing 16-24 record.
If they wish to fight their way into the playoffs, they will need every player to perform to the best of their abilities.
A new concerning report from Nets Daily, via NBACentral, says one Nets star isn’t participating as he should.
According to the report, people within the league think that Spencer Dinwiddie is on “strike” and “showing minimal effort on the basketball court.”
That would greatly complicate the team’s chances of winning and could jeopardize his future in Brooklyn.

It’s not clear what has bothered Dinwiddie to the point of going on strike but this situation is obviously very serious.
For the season, Dinwiddie is averaging 13.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 6.1 assists.
During most of the season, Dinwiddie has been scoring in the double digits and has earned a double-double multiple times.
Over the last few weeks, his output on the court has radically changed, with him scoring in the single digits several times.
The worst was on January 2, when he recorded zero points during his 21 minutes on the floor against the New Orleans Pelicans.
What is upsetting Dinwiddie and is there anything the Nets can do to make him feel better?
The trade deadline is quickly approaching and the Nets could cut ties with Dinwiddie if he doesn’t start playing as he’s supposed to.
However, would any other team in the league commit to signing Dinwiddie after this report of him going on strike?
Dinwiddie is a very smart and talented player when he wants to be.
For whatever reasons, he is reportedly not pushing himself or trying hard and the Nets need to address that as soon as possible.
This team cannot win if one of their biggest stars has given up.
