The Olympics are just around the corner, and athletes have just a few weeks until the games begin.
While it is crunch time for athletes in every sport, there is seemingly added pressure for the USA’s basketball team, who need to work together to get on the same page, hoping to take home the gold.
It can be difficult for a team like this to work together, as it mainly consists of NBA players who are typically rivals, at least when it comes to the regular season and NBA playoffs.
The Olympics allows them to come together for a common goal, which is to take home the gold for their country.
Fans were excited to see this year’s roster, as it is filled with NBA superstars who will hopefully match up well against other countries.
There is one player who is not yet in the NBA, Cooper Flagg, who has been scrimmaging against Team USA.
Flagg is 17 years old and is slated to play at Duke next season.
As a video from Yahoo Sports highlighted, Flagg was not only able to get meaningful minutes in these scrimmages, but he certainly made the most of his opportunity.

With these clips in mind, fans took to Twitter to indicate how impressed they were with Flagg’s performances.

Cooper will cause teams to lose before he’s in the league just to get a chance to draft him. My prediction is he will end up in San Antonio to play with Wemby, not that I’m insinuating anything.

If this initial fan reaction is any indication, Flagg will be a major star when he gets to the NBA, assuming he can keep up this level of production in college and stay healthy.
