The MLB All-Star Game is something that every player wants to be a part of.
It is one of the game’s great honors to be able to start it as well.
While the fans do the voting to decide who starts the game, that could leave some very deserving players on the outside looking in.
But one player whom should no doubt be making his first All-Star start is Diamondbacks rookie Corbin Carroll.
You could say the D-Backs are the most surprising team in baseball this year and Carroll is a major reason why.
He has shown off all the tools that have made him the top prospect in baseball.
After the first All-Star ballot returns, Carroll was not in a position to start.
Since then, fans have done a great job giving him the votes he deserves.
According to Bob Nightengale, Carroll has now taken over one of the starting outfield spots in the National League.

It was only a matter of time before fans started to realize that the rookie needs to be in Seattle.
He is doing things this season that are rare for first-year players.
According to StatMuse, the 22-year-old is one of three players with 15+ home runs and 10+ stolen bases.

He is on that list with the two leading MVP candidates, Shohei Ohtani and Ronald Acuna Jr.
There is no doubt the Diamondbacks would not be in the position they are in without Carroll.
He has taken the league by storm and he deserves to be a starter in the All-Star Game.
