The Denver Broncos may have a bit of a situation on their hands right now.
They took care of their quarterback problem by getting Bo Nix in the NFL Draft and trading for Zach Wilson.
However, whoever’s on the field will need someone to throw the football to, and their best weapon is far from satisfied.
Courtland Sutton wasn’t present in training camp in the early stages of the offseason, and he was reportedly looking forward to getting a contract extension.
Things haven’t picked up, which is why he made it loud and clear that he’s not satisfied with his current situation.
Talking about his contract, Sutton claimed that he’s not happy with the way the conversation went and how they’ve reportedly reached a stalemate (via Zac Stevens).
“I wanted to make sure that it was known that, ‘Yeah I was upset about how the contract went about, how the conversation went about, how the stalemate has persisted’”

The Broncos traded Jerry Jeudy, leaving Sutton as the undisputed No. 1 in the passing game.
Despite having a subpar quarterback situation since he entered the league, Sutton has managed to stay quite productive and efficient, putting up big numbers regardless.
Sutton will continue to work out and won’t hold out, but he’s not happy with his situation, and that’s never a good sign in the locker room.
Sean Payton’s team is going to have a tough time competing after all the players they moved on from in the offseason, and they must give one of the few stars they still have an incentive to stay there for years to come.
If not, plenty of teams around the league would gladly welcome him with open arms.
