The Dallas Cowboys have had their fair share of legendary players, and you can add DeMarcus Ware to that list now.
The former linebacker is now officially headed to Canton, Ohio, to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Notably, he won’t be going there on his own, as he had a special person in mind to be his presenter.
The Cowboys recently posted a video of Ware reaching out to team owner Jerry Jones to break the news.
Needless to say, the video went viral in the blink of an eye, with dozens of fans sharing their thoughts on social media.
Ware initially joked by telling Jones that he was there for a draft visit, with Jones letting him know that they’d take him in the blink of an eye.

The legendary linebacker is officially going full circle and getting his gold jacket.
The Cowboys took him with the 11th overall pick out of Troy in the 2005 NFL Draft, and he would go on to play for the organization for nine great years.
He amassed 117 sacks and led the league in that stat twice during his days in Arlington.
He was also a four-time first-team All-Pro with the Cowboys before capping off his great career with a Super Bowl ring with the Denver Broncos.
Now, he’ll be where he was always supposed to be after being one of the most impactful and disruptive defensive forces in the league for over a decade.
