The Dallas Cowboys have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL.

There is no reason to think they will not have another successful season if healthy.

But, staying healthy over a full NFL season is no easy task.

The last thing the Cowboys need to see is any of their star players get hurt in training camp.

Unfortunately, that was what happened to star pass rusher Micah Parsons on Tuesday.

According to Calvin Watkins via Dov Kleiman, Parsons left practice with his left leg wrapped and did not return.

Parsons is not only the Cowboys’ best defensive player but he is one of the best in the NFL.

He can wreck a game at any moment and is someone that Dallas needs on the field.

It would not be a surprise to see them be very cautious with this injury.

If Parsons has to sit out a few days or even a week, then so be it.

All that matters for him is being on the field when Week 1 comes around.

Watkins also reported that Parsons said he was kicked in the leg.

Micah Parsons said he got kicked in the leg and he’s going to get it looked at.

While that does not sound like much you can bet Dallas will conduct all the tests necessary.

Over the past few seasons, Parsons has established himself as an unstoppable force.

He finished second in Defensive Player of the Year voting both years and has been first-team All-Pro twice.

Parsons has put himself in a position to be the highest-paid defensive player in the league when he is due for a new contract.
