The Dallas Cowboys pulled out a gritty, 20-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football.
This was an important game for both teams at a pivotal point in the season.
Dak Prescott recognized the importance of their victory in a press conference shared via Ed Werder.
“4-2 or 3-3, it’s a huge difference,” Prescott said, noting how big of a game this was for the Cowboys.

At 4-2, the Cowboys now sit one game behind the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East.
Had they fallen to 3-3, they would have been two games back, a difficult place to be considering how dominant the Eagles are.
Prescott has led this team to a 4-2 record despite significant offseason criticism.
Many pundits were unsure of his role as the Cowboys quarterback due to his performances in the 2022 season.
He was seen as throwing too many interceptions, a poor decision-maker, and a shaky quarterback in general.
The Cowboys’ recent postseason collapses were also mentioned in these discussions, adding fuel to the anti-Prescott fire.
While he hasn’t been perfect this season, he has done enough to keep the Cowboys on a winning trajectory.
He stepped up when he was needed most during this victory, throwing for 272 yards and one touchdown.
Prescott didn’t have any interceptions throughout this contest, one of the main reasons the Cowboys came away with a victory.
While this game was important to Prescott and the Cowboys, and a sign that they are on the right track, it’s a long season.
Will he sustain this production throughout the entire year?
