For years, NFL fans have had some mixed takes about Dak Prescott.

But as promising as the early stages of his career with the Dallas Cowboys were, it seems like he hasn’t impressed a lot of people over the past couple of years.

His turnover issues were evident last season, as he led the league in interceptions despite not even playing all 17 games.

With that in mind, the Cowboys star vowed that he won’t even have ten interceptions next season, according to PFF.

The Cowboys and their fans will most definitely hope that’s the case.

Mike McCarthy’s offense is reportedly set to rely heavily on the running game, with Tony Pollard leading the way now as the undisputed lead back.

The Cowboys boast one of the most talented receiving corps in the league right now with CeeDee Lamb, Brandin Cooks, and Michael Gallup, but recent history has proven that they fare better when they don’t put most of the pressure on Prescott to lead them.

Their defense has improved in the past two years and should once again rank high in the NFC next season, which should also give them a shot to at least go back to the playoffs.

Then again, as things stand now, Prescott will have to do a much better job to turn the narrative around, as not many people outside of the Cowboys organization seem to think of him as a top-tier quarterback, and he might be the main thing holding this team back in the next couple of seasons.
