The New York Jets are the one NFL team soaking up all the attention this offseason.
It started when they traded for Aaron Rodgers in a move that shifted the landscape of the league.
But, the fun did not stop there.
The Jets were also the team selected to be on HBO’s “Hard Knocks” this summer.
While that is currently going on, New York felt they could add another veteran to the fold at running back.
So they did just that by signing Dalvin Cook to a one-year contract.
He joins a backfield with second-year star Breece Hall in what should make a strong one-two punch in New York.
According to the New York Post, Cook thinks the Jets are building “something special.”

New York now sports one of the best running back rooms in football.
That is a position where players are often injured so it is not a bad idea to load up on talented players.
Cook seems thrilled to be joining a team that can compete for a Super Bowl.
Plus, being able to team up with Rodgers was a significant reason why he chose New York over other places.
Cook has rushed for 1,000+ yards in four consecutive seasons and he is hoping to make that five straight this year.
Even at the age of 28, Cook still seems to be going strong.
Playing on a one-year deal, he hopes he can prove that there are still plenty of miles to go in his legs.
