The New York Jets have been among the NFL’s most active teams throughout the offseason.

They’ve added significant pieces to both sides of the ball in hopes of breaking their 12-year playoff drought.

Among those new players is Dalvin Cook, who was released by the Minnesota Vikings in the early stages of the offseason.

Cook and the rest of his teammates aren’t just looking to break their playoff drought, as he recently told the New York Post.

“That’s why I’m here, to help in any way I can to get where we need to go, and that’s holding up the trophy,” Cook said.

The Jets genuinely believe they have the talent in place to win the Super Bowl.

Cook is coming off another 1,000-yard season with the Vikings.

If he keeps up that pace, Aaron Rodgers and the offense should be in a great position to succeed.

Cook will share the backfield with Breece Hall, who is recovering from an injury he suffered in 2022.

When Hall is back, many have already pointed to this duo as one of the best in the league.

Cook has the career experience to back this up, and the first part of Hall’s rookie campaign was highly regarded.

There is a lot of hype surrounding this team, which began with rumors of Rodgers’ trade.

Adding Cook was another major piece for this team in the offseason.

The Jets have a lot of pressure on their shoulders, but it appears they are willing to take on the challenge.
