Dalvin Cook has recently been released by the Minnesota Vikings, and is now in search of a new team.

After Cook was released, he’s been relatively quiet, leaving NFL fans wondering what his next move is.

While Cook’s future destination remains to be seen, he has provided an update about his shoulder, via a conversation with Adam Schefter.

“It’s going to be a big difference, man,” Cook said about his shoulder.

After undergoing surgery on his torn labrum in March, free-agent, four-time Pro-Bowl RB @dalvincook believes he will be stronger this season than he has in any year.

Plus, what he’s looking for in his new team.

Cook had a torn labrum last season but was able to play through it.

Now that he’s had the surgery, however, Cook believes that his trajectory for 2023 is on the way up.

“Me going and just playing football and being me,” was another statement by Cook about his progress.

This surgery is now out of the way, and Cook will be able to get back on the field with no worries about his shoulder.

He added, “I can be Florida State Dalvin Cook, turn it loose.”

If Cook can get back to his form from Florida State, he would be a massive value for whatever team picks him up.

Cook totaled 4,464 yards during his collegiate career, resulting in 46 touchdowns.

Will an NFL team take a chance on him, knowing that Cook will be 28 years old when the season begins?

He’s coming off a 1,173-yard, eight-touchdown season with the Vikings.

Running backs have continued to be devalued across the league, driving down the potential ceiling for Cook’s contract.

However, there is likely a place for Cook on a contending team, if they can get a contract figured out.
