After months of speculation and rumors, veteran running back Dalvin Cook has finally decided where he wants to continue his NFL career, with the four-time Pro Bowler choosing to sign with the New York Jets.
Ever since the Minnesota Vikings released him in June, it has seemed to be a two-team race between the Jets and Miami Dolphins, with both teams already having a potent offense and potentially being Super Bowl contenders.
The addition of Cook may put the Jets over the top in terms of being considered a legitimate title contender, as the team now has star players all over the field, giving superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers multiple weapons during his first season in New York.
After ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news about the veteran running back being set to sign with the Jets, Cook quote-tweeted the news with a green heart.

Although the team is incredibly talented offensively with players like Garrett Wilson, Allen Lazard, Mecole Hardman, Randall Cobb, Tyler Conklin, Breece Hall, Rodgers, and Cook, it could be all for nothing if the offensive line doesn’t hold up during the upcoming 2023 NFL season.
There’s no question that this team can put up a lot of points on a weekly basis with this squad, but New York could struggle if the offensive line doesn’t do its job to protect Rodgers and create holes for Cook and Hall.
So even though the Jets look as stacked as any team on paper right now, it remains to be seen whether it will all come together.
