With the NFL preseason just around the corner, the New York Jets continue to make more additions.
Dalvin Cook hasn’t found a new home since being released by the Minnesota Vikings, but it’s not like he hasn’t had many options.
Cook has been one of the most efficient running backs in the league when healthy, and even though he’s struggled with injuries in his career, it’s more than evident that he still has plenty left in the tank.
With that in mind, Cook is taking some time to take the next step in his career.
When asked about what he’s looking for in his impending visit to the Jets, Cook claimed that he just wants good vibes and to feel like people actually want him there, according to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network.

Cook also claims he wants to bring something different and some value to the table, which is being just the player and person he is.
Notably, the Florida State product has also been tied to a move with the Miami Dolphins, and he’s already talked about how special it would be to play for his hometown team.
Cook will also visit with other teams, with the New England Patriots as another potential destination, so we shouldn’t expect a decision any time soon.
Even so, he admitted that the Jets are still at the top of his priority list, and it’s hard to think of a better RB combo in that division with him and Breece Hall.
