Kevin Durant went on another Twitter spree on Wednesday, and Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers got in on the action.

Durant was responding to his legion of fans – and detractors – on social media when he got into a conversation about what helps teams win championships.

Responding to a user, Durant said: “Offense wins u championships brother.”

Lillard then quoted that tweet with his own response: a pair of laughing emojis.

It’s not entirely clear what Lillard’s reply meant but it got people talking.

Was he laughing at Durant’s sentiment or agreeing with it?

We may never know but Lillard’s current situation adds a lot of extra speculation to his tweet.

As we all know, Lillard is currently trying to get out of Portland, hoping to be traded to the Miami Heat.

According to reports, Lillard intends to go to the Heat because he believes they have what it takes to win a championship within the next few years.

Although the iconic guard has achieved many things during his NBA career, he has yet to reach the NBA Finals.

It has always been his biggest goal and he is tired of waiting for it with Portland.

As for his offense, Lillard’s has always been strong.

Last season, the 32-year-old averaged 32.2 points per game on 46.3% from the field.

His ability to score is unquestionable and impressive, he just needs a few other great players alongside him to reach this massive milestone.

Some fans on Twitter laughed at Lillard’s comments, saying that he doesn’t know what it takes to win a championship.

If all goes according to plan, he might soon.
