The Detroit Lions have a lot going for them.

Not only did they make it to the playoffs in 2023, but they won the NFC North for the first time in franchise history.

While they fell short of making it to the Super Bowl, the Lions showed constant fight throughout the year.

They don’t appear to be going anywhere anytime soon, as they have built an impressive roster on both sides of the ball.

One of their biggest assets is Dan Campbell, their head coach who has made an incredible impact on team culture and chemistry.

Campbell might be unorthodox, but it’s hard to argue with the results he has found to this point in his career.

One of the best attributes of Campbell is his willingness to let players be themselves, which has allowed him to have great relationships with many athletes on the team.

For instance, Campbell recently called out rookie Sione Vaki’s singing voice, which was shared in an interview via Brad Galli.

Campbell asked Vaki to sing to reporters, which he did impressively.

While this specific exercise doesn’t pertain to football exclusively, it is another opportunity for Campbell to gain rapport and trust with his players.

Vaki is confident in himself off the field now that Campbell has given him public praise, and with any luck, that confidence will translate to the football field.

His role might be limited in his rookie year, but with Campbell as his coach, Vaki should get valuable experience regardless.
