There seems to be a lot of controversy around the Chicago Bears this season.

After a lot of preseason hype and expectations from analysts across the league, the Bears have fallen short of where many thought they would be.

There are several factors in the Bears’ sub-.500 record, but Justin Fields’ name is often the first aspect that is mentioned.

Fields has been a polarizing player since he entered the league, receiving equal criticism from fans and reporters.

Despite these mixed reviews, Dan Orlovsky’s opinion of Fields has not wavered.

He not only believes he can be the Bears’ franchise quarterback but believes he would have a role on several other teams as well, according to a recent tweet.

I still watch Fields and think “play maker”

Yes I want him to play more settled and in structure and do the little QB things more and better, but, just today alone he makes the

Jets
Pats
Steelers
Raiders
Giants
Vikings
Falcons
Saints
Bucs

Better at QB position. I wouldn’t give…

Orlovsky called Fields a “play maker.”

He believes he is what the Bears need at the position, and that he can sufficiently do his job.

Orlovsky listed nine teams that would be better off with Fields as their quarterback, including their division rival Minnesota Vikings.

While Orlovsky’s confidence has not waivered, his opinion doesn’t matter, at least to the Bears organization.

They are the people who will need to ultimately make a tough decision on Fields and his future with the team.

With two first-round picks in next year’s draft, the Bears could decide to take a swing at one of the top QB prospects.

This would immediately put Fields into competition with that player, fighting for his job after three years on the team.

All eyes will be on the Bears’ ownership as they make decisions about their future.
