The NFL is arguably the most talented it has ever been in the passing game in the league, with quarterbacks and wide receivers never being more athletic or skilled, which has led to more points and offenses geared toward airing it out.
That said, every team in the league has been getting as much talent as possible under center and downfield to keep up with the trend of manufacturing offense in the passing game.
This week, the Philadelphia Eagles made another move to upgrade their offense as they uncharacteristically made a trade with the division-rival Washington Commanders to acquire wide receiver Jahan Dotson, adding another weapon for superstar quarterback Jalen Hurts.
With the addition of Dotson joining forces with AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith, former NFL quarterback turned analyst Dan Orlovsky believes the Eagles now have the best wide receiver trio in the league via NFL on ESPN.
“The Eagles have the best wide receiver trio,” Orlovsky said.

Although this is a bold statement, especially with the Miami Dolphins having the three-headed monster of Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and Odell Beckham Jr., Orlovsky might ultimately be right, considering the age of these players and what they can do for the Eagles moving forward.
With the Eagles coming off a disappointing 2023 campaign, Philadelphia desperately wants to right the ship and get back on track as one of the best teams in the NFC and has added key pieces to make that happen, with superstar running back Saquon Barkley also being a game-changer for the team moving forward.
