The Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs will square off tonight to kick off the season.

This highly-anticipated matchup will be a rematch from the AFC Championship Game, and while it hasn’t been that long since they last met, a lot has changed.

The Ravens have lost some key contributors on defense, but they added a big-time player — both literally and figuratively — in Derrick Henry.

As for the Chiefs, they struggled to get much going offensively last season, but they revamped their receiving corps ahead of this campaign.

With that in mind, former NFL QB Dan Orlovsky claimed that the Ravens had a lot at stake this time around.

Talking on ESPN’s Get Up, he argued that it’s about time the Ravens prove that they can beat a team like the Chiefs.

While this isn’t a high-stakes game because it’s just the season opener, it’s going to be a primetime matchup, and losing to Patrick Mahomes twice in the last two games they’ve played won’t be a good look for Lamar Jackson and John Harbaugh.

The Ravens have already proven to be a very good team, and they’ve dominated contending sides in the regular season over and over.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are the guys to beat in the league right now.

Everybody will be aiming for their crown.

And if the Ravens want other people to think of them as legitimate candidates to dethrone them and win it all this season, they’ll need to prove that they can do it first.
