The New York Giants are in desperate need of an offensive turnaround.

And while Daniel Jones should be to blame for some of their miscues this season, not having him on the field might not be the answer to their prayers right now.

The former first-round pick left Sunday’s clash vs. the Miami Dolphins with a neck injury in the fourth quarter and did not return, with Tyrod Taylor getting the nod in his absence.

Now, he’s still not a lock to suit up for Sunday Night Football’s showdown vs. the Buffalo Bills, although he did admit that he’ll do everything he can to be out there, adding that he’s feeling a lot better.

“Feeling better,” says “goal” is to play Week 6 vs. Bills: “I’m gonna do everything I can to be out there,” Jones said.

Brian Daboll’s team was down 31-13 when Jones took a hit by Andrew Van Ginkel.

He had completed 14 of 20 passes for 119 yards and no scores before leaving the game.

It’s worth noting that Jones suffered a season-ending neck injury in 2021, so this could be a reason for concern within the organization.

Still, they cannot do a lot worse offensively this season, with or without him.

They have yet to score an offensive touchdown after five weeks, and their 1-4 record could easily be 0-5 if it wasn’t for a miracle comeback vs. the Arizona Cardinals.

The Bills are in desperate need of a bounce back of their own after dropping a ‘home’ game in London to the Jacksonville Jaguars, and they’ll look to make a statement against arguably the worst team in the NFC, so maybe it’ll be best for Jones to sit this one out.
