The Philadelphia 76ers finally found a trade partner for James Harden.
The Harden saga had taken over Philadelphia in the offseason and most people knew he would never play for the 76ers again.
Finally, the Sixers were able to send Harden to the Los Angeles Clippers.
Due to that trade, the 76ers had to release one player from their roster.
Unfortunately, the one player they released was Danny Green.
Green spoke on “Inside the Green Room” about what it was like when he got released.
He said: “We just moved in about a week ago, just got the family here a week ago… and now it’s like ‘you gotta figure it out.’”

It is always sad to see when a player gets released.
Green has played in the NBA for a long time and he has been a part of many teams.
It will be interesting to see if he looks for a new team or if he calls it a career.
Green is 36 years old and moving around from team to team must be difficult.
He has been with the 76ers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Memphis Grizzlies all within the past year.
When many people see a player get released, they just think about how it affects their team.
But, no one brings up how that player’s family is affected.
If Green does decide to continue playing, hopefully he can find a place where he can happily retire in a few years.
