Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams is one of the best at his position in the game.

Even without catching passes from Aaron Rodgers, the former Fresno State star has produced in a big way in Vegas with multiple quarterbacks.

He has turned in back-to-back seasons with 100+ catches and 1,100+ yards.

However, that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t miss playing with Rodgers, who he spent eight seasons (2014-2021) with in Green Bay.

In a recent interview with Hall of Fame tight end Shannon Sharpe, Adams chatted about what makes his old teammate in Rodgers so special when it comes to timing, accuracy, and ball placement.

“Having a dude like Aaron, I was able to get away with some things…Obviously, that happened over time,” Adams said on Club Shay Shay.

In this interview, Adams was able to illustrate to fans how even if he didn’t run the perfect route or even if the coverage on defense was perfect, Rodgers was still able to find a way to get him the ball.

The two made each other better during their Packers careers.

Rodgers won three of his four career MVPs with Adams in the fold while Adams became an All-Pro player.

Adams was traded to the Raiders before the 2022 season and Rodgers was traded to the Jets before the 2023 season.

While Adams has flourished statistically in Vegas, the Raiders have finished with a record under .500 in each of his two seasons there.

Rodgers only played four snaps before he tore his Achilles in his first season with the Jets last year.

With both not having great luck apart from each other, perhaps there is a chance that they could reunite down the road before their careers are over.
