Davante Adams Was Asked If He Would Return To Packers

For years, Davante Adams was one of the main reasons why the Green Bay Packers felt like they could beat anybody.

His connection with Aaron Rodgers was one of the deadliest in the league, and he grew to become one of the best wide receivers of all time there.

Eventually, however, he decided to cut his stay in Wisconsin short and take his talents to a warmer place.

He looked forward to being reunited with his best friend and college teammate, Derek Carr, and playing for the Las Vegas Raiders.

So, now that a couple of years have gone by and Carr isn’t even with the Raiders, and amid all the trade rumors, Shannon Sharpe asked him if he would ever consider going back to Green Bay (Via Club Shay Shay).

Notably, Adams didn’t seem particularly open to the idea.

However, it had nothing to do with football or any sort of feud with the organization.

He talked about how being a father is his No. 1 priority now and how he was sad to know that his little girls couldn’t even go outside at times because of how cold it was.

He also claimed that it would be extremely difficult for him to be away from his kids and go play somewhere else, adding that there are more things to consider in the equation at this point in his life and career.

Adams also said that he would consider joining Rodgers in New York, which isn’t particularly warm in the winter.

Then again, it’s not Green Bay.
