Many NFL players leave college early in order to chase money and greatness in the pros, which means they enter the league without a full college education.
Many have criticized such players for seemingly prioritizing sports over getting their diploma, especially since so many don’t make it in the league or see their careers fizzle out after just a few years.
But Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is looking to buck that trend or even prove it is a false narrative.
He has reportedly re-enrolled as a student at Clemson University, and he will be taking online classes toward getting a degree in parks, rec and tourism management, per Dov Kleiman.
Update: #Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins has re-enrolled as a student in classes at Clemson. The 31-year old is working toward a degree in parks, rec and tourism management (taking online classes).
Hopkins played at Clemson from 2010-2012 before going to the NFL.

Hopkins played three years at Clemson, and in his final year there he had 1,405 yards and 18 touchdowns while helping the Tigers win the Chick-fil-A Bowl over Louisiana State University.
He was the No. 27 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft and in his first eight pro seasons, he made the Pro Bowl five times while being named to the All-Pro First Team three straight years from 2017 to 2019 and surpassing the 1,200-yard mark five times.
After three disappointing seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, Hopkins joined the Titans during the offseason as a free agent, and he has given them a much-needed shot in the arm.
He had seven receptions for 65 yards in Week 1, and although Tennessee lost 16-15 to the New Orleans Saints, he helped them be competitive.
Last season, they did not have a single player who managed to accumulate more than 550 receiving yards.
