It’s crazy to think that, of all of the Lob City key players, DeAndre Jordan is the only one with an NBA championship.
The former Los Angeles Clippers big man has been borderline unplayable since leaving Los Angeles.
Nonetheless, he’s still a key locker-room presence and a respected veteran around the league.
Moreover, it seems like he’s not ready to walk away from the game just yet.
According to a report by Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, Jordan intends to pick up his player option to return to the Denver Nuggets next season.

Jordan’s option is worth $3.6 million.
Needless to say, this was a no-brainer decision for Jordan.
He’s been barely asked to play since he arrived in Denver, and that’s not going to change for as long as Nikola Jokic is out there and healthy.
Once considered to be one of the best rebounders in the game, Jordan has been a non-factor on the court for years, but his veteran leadership and experience have come in handy for Mike Malone’s squad.
The Nuggets are coming off a heartbreaking end to the season.
They were expected to represent the Western Conference in the NBA Finals again, but they came across a team literally built to beat them in the Minnesota Timberwolves.
With that in mind, they might look to add more depth to their frontcourt, pursuing a big man who could actually help them on the court as well while Jordan only provides some depth as a third-string center.
