Last offseason, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel was coming off a sensational season that saw him get named to both the Pro Bowl and the All-Pro First-Team.
However, he created some drama by demanding a contract extension and momentarily unfollowing his team on social media.
But he got his contract extension, and this spring and summer, he has apparently been able to focus on his game and his conditioning.
A recent video shared on social media caught him pushing himself to the max on the treadmill.

Samuel isn’t just one of the 49ers’ most important weapons — he is also one of the more unique players in the entire NFL.
He likes to occasionally line up as a running back, and in that capacity, he has contributed 597 yards and 11 touchdowns on 101 carries over the last two seasons.
However, his production in the air declined from 1,405 yards in 2021 to 632 yards last year, and San Francisco will likely need him to get over the 1,000-yard mark again if they’re to finally win their sixth Super Bowl championship.
They’re certainly armed with plenty of weapons, including fellow wideout Brandon Aiyuk, tight end George Kittle, running back Christian McCaffrey, and defensive end Nick Bosa, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year.
The Niners obviously have a question mark at quarterback, where Brock Purdy, the last player chosen in the 2022 draft, is recovering from a torn UCL in his throwing elbow.
Purdy played outstanding ball after taking over the QB1 spot in Week 13 last season, and if he recovers in time for Week 1 this year while continuing his great play, the team could be fitted for championship rings in February.
