The San Francisco 49ers are just two months removed from their heartbreaking overtime loss to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII, but it is now the offseason, and it is time for players to have some fun.
While the 49ers made some offseason moves on the front seven of their defense, they’re expected to head into the 2024 season largely intact and looking for revenge.
Wide receiver Deebo Samuel was seen hanging out with two New York Giants players: Isaiah Simmons and Isaiah Hodgins.

Samuel contributed 892 receiving yards, 225 rushing yards, and 12 total touchdowns from scrimmage last season to help San Francisco get to the brink of earning the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
He is one of the league’s truly unique wide receivers, as he’s equally adept lining up in the backfield as a running back and taking carries, especially on sweep plays and in the red zone.
The Niners’ offense features Samuel, rising wideout Brandon Aiyuk, tight end George Kittle, and running back Christian McCaffrey, both of whom were All-Pro First-Team selections in 2023, and, of course, quarterback Brock Purdy.
There is some uncertainty surrounding Aiyuk, who is heading into the final year of his contract and is looking for a lucrative extension.
Some have rumored the Niners could end up trading him, but it is pure speculation at this point, and perhaps there’s a good chance he will remain with them beyond 2024 as they look to make good on their “quest for six.”
