Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders is once again the talk of college football heading into the 2024 season after a disappointing end to last season that saw his team lose eight of its final nine games after an exciting 3-0 start.

No matter how focused Coach Prime is on improving his team, he’ll always have time to call out a hater and keep them honest.

During a recent press conference, Sanders called out Denver Post reporter Sean Keeler before he even asked a question, smiling while saying “You don’t like us, man, why do you do this to yourself?” and reiterated his question to Keeler multiple times, creating a slightly awkward situation and said, “What happened to get you like this…because it’s not normal.”

We’ll always wonder what question Keeler had ready to go because Sanders didn’t even let him ask a question after the uncomfortable back-and-forth.

Coaches can handle reporters however they please, but Sanders will make a lot of enemies and continue to get negative articles written about him if he treats the media this way.

It would be more well-received if Sanders had gone better than 4-8 last season, and one can only imagine the heat reporters will get this year if Colorado lives up to its astronomical expectations.

Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter are back and should both be in the mix for the Heisman Trophy, and any team with two Heisman contenders has to win more than four games if they have any chance of bringing home any hardware.
