Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders is one of the biggest personalities in the sport, and sometimes his passion can be taken as arrogance or another form of negative emotion.
After some recent questionable press conference moments, Coach Prime made it a point to let the media and the fans know that he is all about positivity heading into his second season as the team’s head coach.
In a recent press conference, Sanders shot down a question about negativity and said, “I’m not built like that. I’m not built to hate. I’m not negative to anybody here” after informing the reporter asking him the question that some questions he receives come from a place of negativity and he’d like to see less of that.

This press conference clip comes just days after the team banned Denver Post columnist Sean Keeler from asking questions of Sanders or anybody else from the organization after he and Sanders got into an awkward back-and-forth weeks ago due to Keller’s questioning and consistent badmouthing of the organization in his columns.
The decision to ban Keeler comes two weeks after a press conference where Sanders accused Keeler of “always being on the attack” and asked him, “What happened to get you like this?” before adding, “I want to help because it’s not normal.”
Sanders has a pair of Heisman Trophy candidates on his team and will be looking to take the next step in the organization’s first year in the Big 12.
Colorado opens the season on August 29th against North Dakota State on ESPN.
