Over the past few years, there’s been a lot of debate about where Dallas Mavericks superstar Kyrie Irving stands when it comes to the all-time ranking for players with the best handles in the history of the NBA.
Although Irving is sorely lacking in other areas, especially when it comes to the defensive end of the basketball floor and staying healthy over the course of an NBA season, there seems to be no doubt about his skill level, as many revere him to be one of the most talented players the league has ever seen.
As for the ball-handling conversation, Atlanta Hawks star Dejounte Murray appears to have no doubt that Irving is the best of the best, as he said on the “From The Point by Trae Young” podcast, via Bleacher Report.
“Kyrie’s the best,” Murray said. “Ever! I’m telling you, bro. It’s ridiculous, bro.”

A lot of players over the years in the NBA have had incredible handles, like Jason Williams, Chris Paul, Isiah Thomas, and Allen Iverson, but the general consensus between current and past players is that Irving is second to none.
Irving’s status in the league right now suggests that he has potentially found a new long-term home in the NBA, playing alongside fellow superstar Luka Doncic in Dallas.
The new dynamic duo in Dallas currently has the team moving up the Western Conference standings as they have gone from a potential Play-In Tournament team to fifth place in the conference and threatening to overtake the Los Angeles Clippers for the fourth seed in the West.
