DeMarcus Cousins hasn’t been in the NBA for a few years but he’s just 34 years old, which means he can still play basketball.

According to the official X account of FIBA 3×3 basketball, Cousins has signed on to play for the World Tour team Wuxi WenLv until the end of the season.

3×3 basketball is very tough but Cousins has the skills to make an impact on his new team.

During his 11 years in the league, Cousins averaged 19.6 points and 10.2 rebounds per game.

He was a majorly impactful beast for several teams, including the Sacramento Kings, New Orleans Pelicans, Golden State Warriors, and more.

Cousins’ talent was unquestionable but he often had an attitude that rubbed people the wrong way.

Additionally, the older he got, the more injuries he received, and that slowed him down.

He ended his NBA tenure with the Denver Nuggets in 2021-22 but he’s been playing basketball ever since.

Many fans have hoped he’d come back to the NBA but that doesn’t seem as likely as he grows older.

This opportunity to play 3×3 basketball will give Cousins a chance to perform on a big, international stage, which could work wonders for his career.

He might not be returning to the NBA but his time in the 3×3 league could give him a good contract with any number of international leagues.

Cousins is a big, strong, sometimes unstoppable force on the court.

That means he will be a huge help for his team during upcoming 3×3 games.
