The Houston Texans’ season has gone significantly better than many expected heading into the year.
This team has struggled to find consistency at the quarterback position since the departure of Deshaun Watson.
There was hope surrounding C.J. Stroud, but he has delivered performances that have put him at the forefront of the Rookie of the Year conversation.
However, this season hasn’t been all positive for Stroud.
He has suffered from concussion symptoms as of late, missing the last two games due to injury.
While his timeframe to return to the field was initially unknown, his head coach recently provided a positive update.
According to Adam Schefter, DeMeco Ryans was excited about Stroud’s return to practice, saying, “It was encouraging to see him.”

While Ryans didn’t provide an update on Stroud’s status for their upcoming game, he was generally excited to see Stroud back in the building.
Having the young star around his teammates seemed uplifting for this team that still has an opportunity to make the playoffs.
The Texans control their destiny with upcoming matchups with the Tennessee Titans and the Indianapolis Colts.
If they win both of these games, their chances of making it into the playoffs will be increased, and with a loss, they will seemingly be crushed.
Can Case Keenum help the team win against the Titans this week, hopefully setting up Stroud’s return to a must-see game against the Colts in the season finale?
